



Sometimes when the word meditation is mentioned, people immediately think they can not sit still long enough, or sit in a quiet place. Although that may be how some meditate, there are many other ways to do so.
One way I am familiar with is Art. If its your first time ever painting, you may need to hone in on your skills first. You do not need to know too much about painting, except how to use the paint, mix colors, and clean your brush. Once you know how to do those few things, you can set up a small area literally anywhere in your home, play some music (tip; try something different) and paint.
Do not try to draw anything, but instead start with a light color, imagine a light source coming from whatever direction you’d like, and paint. Try bringing in another color that blends easily with the first, and so on. You can turn your canvas upside down, or continue to rotate. Allow your brush strokes to move to the music. Get lost in the wonderful world of imagination. If your art begins to look like something, go with it. Embellish it. Enjoy!
